About this course

Eleven interactive topics on the bipolar transistor: how the NPN and PNP junction works, the input and output characteristic curves, DC current gain, the load line and the Q point, the transistor as a switch and as an amplifier, and voltage-divider biasing. Each topic comes with the circuit drawn out, and the values can be moved to see what changes.

If you are looking for the written theory, with worked examples, lab practice and self-assessment, it is on the topic page: Bipolar transistors, from Analog Electronics I, within the Electronics Technician program.
